Worship

Sunday Worship begins at 9:30 am

Worship and sacraments at St. Mark's and St. John's provide the spiritual food we need to fuel our community. On Sunday mornings, we invite you to come as you are, pour yourself a cup of coffee, and be prepared to spend some quality time with God and a wonderful group of people.

Our services are based on the Book of Common Prayer Sunday Eucharist Service, but you can also expect to hear a blend within our liturgy of inclusive language, thought provoking preaching, traditional hymns, and intentional community prayer. We invite children to be present and participate fully in our worship service, and celebrate the presence of all God's people.

Our Sanctuary might not look like your "typical" liturgical Sanctuary. We sit in the round, with our lectern and altar table in the center. This physical change in space is a reminder of our equality in the eyes of our Creator, and the ability to be centered in the hearing of God's Word and the participation in the Holy Eucharist.
